If it is the non moving fuzzy white/grey asp, the best thing I have found is to put ice on the sting asap, this should help numb some of the pain. Also, many people have reported feeling ill or faint soon after stinging. Just lay down with the cold compress and wait it out.

It is important to get the stingers out of the area in which the asp stung you. This can be accomplished by using a piece of tape and gently applying it to the affected area and then slowly removing the tape to remove the stingers. I would do this 2-3 times, with fresh tape each time, to be sure all stingers were removed.
