How can you delete a whole application from a computer?

If you are using a PC (non-Mac) using Windows you can do the following:

• click Start
• from the list, choose (click on) Control Panel
• choose Add or Remove Programs
• find the program name in the list of programs
• click on that program - more information on that application, including a button marked 'Remove' or 'Change/Remove' should appear
• click Remove
• You may be asked to verify the choice (eg by clicking Okay) or to choose between uninstalling and some other action.

Note: Deleting the application icon from the desktop does not delete the application. Going to the Program Files folder and deleting the folder for that application may remove key components of the application, but the only way to completely uninstall all parts of the application is from the Control Panel as described above.
