Owls are not messengers of fate, sent to Earth to inform you of an impending death, they are merely carnivorous birds that eat a lot of rodents, and they neither know nor care about the time at which humans are going to die.

Incidentally, owls believe that if they see 3 people it means that there is going to be an outbreak of parasitic mites. The origin of this belief remains obscure.
