How do you crash the starship using the force in force unleashed when all the tie fighters are shooting at you?

I did this on apprentice, but you can hide behind the pillar, jump up and lighting all the fighters, then run back and follow the prompts. Hide behind the pillar when nore fighters shoot at you, then do it again till you bring it down. And you can't use the force on the destroyer unless the fighters are destroyed.
