Why wear suspensories?

I wear a suspensory undewr a bathing suit when there is no liner. One reason is that at least it provides some support without my junk hanging out and at the same time it gives a nice look when the suit is wet. It is sexy feeling, with the penis sticking out, but mostly it provides some support to my balls.
