You don't. Its a misspelling by Sheldon Dibble of the name: Kalaimanokahoʻowaha, the Hawaiian chief who helped rescue King Kalaniʻōpuʻu and his sons from being kidnapped by Captain Cook. He is credited as striking the first blow to Cook before the British Commander was killed. The name is pronounced Kah-lay-man-oh-kah-hoo-oo-wha-ha.
