What was the cost new of a 1987 Mercedes 560sl?

The car was sold with full equipment - no options. The dealers sold add on hard tops and even aftermarket power top units, whichtended to catch on fire. Bad deal.

The price new in 1987 was $55,300.00 US. That would be $107,000.00 today. Still have mine and it still turns heads.
