Why is violence happening?

Violence has increased, in the society of the United States as an example, because of the nature of the government. It has been seen during the 1960s, when the government is violent, the people usually get violent. The increase is today due to things they show on television and television has been reported to affect the sub conscience aka when you watch a violent TV show, the images stick in your head.
