Why are some European countries uneasy now that Germany is united?

Well, it's been 25 years, but originally a lot of people (particularly Margaret Thatcher) expected a united, and therefore stronger, Germany to aggressively pursue its foreign policy, which could have included retaking the Eastern possessions that were lost in the World Wars.
