How do you get water out of cats ears?

I tried many solutions such as lying on the side of the clogged ear and hopping with the clogged ear facing down, but the solution I found most effective was facing the clogged ear to the ground and tugging on your earlobe for a couple of minutes and the water should be gone!
White Vinegar Rinses: Rinse the ear canals twice a day with ½ strength white vinegar (dilute it with equal parts warm water). Fill the ear canal. After 5 minutes, remove it by turning the head to the side and moving the ear. (Exception: ear tubes or hole in eardrum.) (Reason: restores the normal acid pH of the ear canal and reduces swelling.) OR Mix 1 part white vinegar with 1 part alcohol. The best alcohol to use is pure ethanol, but you could use rubbing alcohol. Pour 1 teaspoon of this mixture in each ear — just let it roll in and roll out.
