If you have a genetic propensity to addiction/Alcoholism, then my experience was that Cocaine owned me shortly after I first started using. It took 6 years of struggle in AA, NA, and CA meetings and three rehabs to get clean and sober. I have seen my disease (cocaine addiction) progress even when I was clean for ten years. I relapsed in May 2006 and in two years I lost home, cars, family, license to practice law, self respect, and freedom. I was arrested in August of 2008 and remain clean today. What you will find if you try coke is that it feels really good, and that you want that feeling to continue. For me my sense of responsiblity to my self and others disappeared in search of that feeling. On a "cost-benefit" analysis basis, the cost of using cocaine greatly outweighs any benefits. Save you money and your life and go to an Eric Clapton or Beethoven concert to get a more natural high.
