Why do people choose to be gay?

As of December 2013, all scientific research has pointed to a biological reason to people being gay/bisexual/etc. This means that they do not choose to be gay; it is inherently born or chosen for the person, perhaps at conception or in the womb. We do not know exactly when this happens, but again, all the research points to this conclusion.

When we address the subject of realizing that if people chose to be gay, they would obviously be choosing a way of life that would not be easy or comfortable. For most people, this also points to being LGBT as being genetic or inborn.
