They do worship a God, but perhaps not the God you are thinking of. They are polytheistic.
To quote:
The dominant Pygmy belief is in the god of the forest. This God is believed to be benevolent and men and women pay as much respect to this god as they do to their own parents. There are well-known songs of joy and praise that are sung, by the pygmies, in honour of this god. All of these songs convey the simple message that the forest is good. The forest-god is said to inhabit the trees or river, where he silently waits and watches his worshipper. A basket filled with food is regarded as a sign that this god has been invoked. There are religious groups, usually with male members, which function in the celebration and glorification of the forest-god. These groups actively partake in the ritual dancing and feasting at tribal celebrations, especially festivals of puberty for boys and girls.
