Can cows be pets

Yes and no. Cows, depending on how they are treated and raised, can become pets. But they really can't be true pets like dogs, horses, pot-bellied pigs, and cats can. Cows are big and they can hurt you even though the don't mean it. If you let them get away with head butting, especially as calves, they will become dangerous.

BULLS SHOULD NEVER BECOME PETS!! Bulls are unpredictable creatures and will turn on you out of the blue, even for no apparent reason. If he figgers out that he is stronger and faster than you, it's time to get rid of him NOW.

An alternative could be the miniature Zebu, being that it is small.
