What does it mean when the daycare man says they dont seem to like each other much?

It means that there is still a chance that your Pokemon could breed, from what I've seen. If he says "they seem to get along very well!", you have about a 70% chance of getting an egg for every 265 steps or so. If he says, "the two seem to get along", you have I think a 50% chance per 265 steps. When he says, "the two don't seem to like each other", it's only about a 20% chance per 265 steps. The only sign that your Pokemon will NOT breed is when he says that the two prefer to play with other Pokemon than each other. Also remember that you can't breed legends, baby Pokemon, etc.
