How do you preserve Peking Man Heritage Site?

Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian is about 30 miles from Beijing. This is where Peking Man fossils were found from a civilization 700,000 years old. It was made a World Heritage Site in 1987 so plans were put in place to preserve the site and continue research on ancient man.
