How long us citizen can stay in Russia?

The amount of time a US citizen can stay in Russia, will depend on what they want to do there. If they want to just visit, they can stay for three days in each place they visit. A visa is an absolute must as are Immigration cards. Extended visas can be obtained for students or people who go there to work.
