Megestrol Acetate can men take this drug?

I most certainly hope so as The Veterans Health Care system fully intends to start me on this very drug. I was transplanted (Kidney) 3.5 yrs ago and have been steadily losing weight since. I plan to keep adding to my post as time progresses and give reports of any side effects.
