Why does the anthers hang outside the flower?

Anthers are placed outside the flower to enhance the process of pollination. When an insect or bird lands on the flower to collect nectar, they come in contact with the anthers and inadvertently transfer pollen to other flowers as they move around, facilitating cross-pollination. This design increases the chances of successful reproduction for the plant.
