When did the Nazis pull out of Russia?

Well, The German army was beginning to lose the fight at about 1944, with large scale engagements tending to fall over to the Russians. I'm not entriely sure but I would confidently say that Germany was pulling back later 1944, and at full scale retreat at 1945.
